I was going to be a math major which was reinforced when Professor Baker congratulated me on having the highest score on the calculus final my freshman year. However, the next year I hit differentials and realized that mathematicians just had a different world view and brain than I had. My freshman dorm mate Dede Robbins came back one day raving about the new human biology program so I went to one lecture (I think an anthropology lecture) and I was hooked.
