Hello friends! I’m looking forward to meeting you! I’m thrilled to learn alongside you and to see you expand your interests in the Core this year. After a year of virtual learning, I know how much we will enjoy being in-person and on campus! When I was a Human Biology major, I concentrated in the Chemistry and Biology of Viruses and Diseases, which led me to enroll in fantastic courses, like Humans and Viruses, and work as a research assistant in the Du Bois Laboratory. The Core also introduced me to new interests and inspired me to write an Honors Thesis on children’s language development with the Language Learning Lab. At Stanford, I enjoy volunteering as an EMT for Stanford EMS and Rock Medicine and helping teach the Stanford EMT Course. When I am not busy with work, I like to cook lasagna, go bowling, and spend time with friends and family. I hope to make this year fun and engaging for you, and to help you carve your own path in Human Biology!
