Hello! My name is Shravya (she/her), and I am very excited to be one of your SAs this year. I am a senior from Austin, Texas; however, I also grew up in the Bay Area. I am double majoring in Human Biology, with a concentration in the The Social and Cultural Determinants of Health, and Computer Science, with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence. I am on the pre-med track, and through Humbio I have been able to learn about different challenges and factors impact health globally and to understand how to create meaningful change in the health and healthcare of various populations.

Outside of Humbio, I am often found practicing or performing an Indian classical dance form called Kuchipudi, working on various global health and mental health projects through organizations across campus, including the Bridge, Stanford Asian Americans in Public Service, and the Council in Global Health. I am also the project manager of my lab that I have been working for since frosh year that focuses on gender-based violence in South Asian women. As someone who has definitely considered and taken several different approaches to my academic career, I am very excited to guide you in supporting your interests through the Humbio major, and above all, I look forward to meeting all of you!
