Welcome to the HumBio Core!! I am so excited to meet and get to know all of you as you make your way through the Core. This department is where I found my home at Stanford, and the Core is where I was first exposed to so many areas that have greatly influenced my life today. The flexibility of the major allowed me to pursue a BA that concentrated in Comparative Health Policy while also giving me the opportunity to explore sports medicine which led to an internship with the Atlanta Falcons. Both of these were areas that I had never been exposed to before, and I hope the Core opens your eyes to new fields too. Outside of the classroom I have been working as an EMT for Atlanta’s 9-1-1 system for the last year, I was a student advisor for HumBio, and I volunteer as a swimming instructor for children with special needs. I also love to do paint by numbers kits, jigsaw puzzles, and spend time with friends in my free time. Please feel free to come talk to me about anything, HumBio related or not! I can’t wait to see you all!
