Human Biology 50th Reunion Celebration

Human Biology is turning 50! Follow your neural pathways back to HumBio to celebrate and reconnect with fellow alumni, faculty and students.

For our 50th anniversary celebration, the theme is aging, wellness, and meaning. The afternoon will include thought-provoking talks by HumBio faculty and alumni as well as plenty of time to catch up with friends and to learn from the current generation of HumBio students.

Our featured speakers will include -

  • Lianne Kurina, Bing Director of the Program in Human Biology at Stanford University
  • Debra Satz, Vernon R. and Lysbeth Warren Anderson Dean of the School of Humanities and Sciences at Stanford University
  • Herant Katchadourian, Emeritus Professor of Human Biology at Stanford University
  • Mercedes Carnethon, HumBio class of 1996, Vice Chair of the Department of Preventive Medicine and the Mary Harris Thompson Professor of Preventive Medicine (Epidemiology) and Medicine (Pulmonary and Critical Care) at Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine
