RECEPTION: Main Quad, outside Buildings 30, 40, and 50
Start time: 12:15 pm
- The reception will be held outdoors in the Main Quad, which is on the left side of MemChu (when facing the main entrance).

DIPLOMA CEREMONY: MemChu, Main Quad
Start time: 2:15 pm. Doors open by 1:45 pm (exact time to be announced closer to the date)
- The ceremony will be held indoors at MemChu, a historic and beautiful space located in the heart of campus.
- No entry to MemChu will be allowed before 1:45pm due to another ceremony in progress.
- Important Attendance Policy: Each graduate is strictly limited to a maximum of 8 guests due to venue restrictions. We strongly urge all graduates to honor this limit out of respect for their fellow classmates and their families. Your cooperation ensures that everyone can celebrate this special day comfortably and safely.
- There is a strict no food or beverage policy; only bottled water will be allowed inside the venue.
- Guest seating is directly behind the reserved graduate seating and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Accessible seating is available on the left side of the main sanctuary area.
- An accessible entrance with an automatic door is located on the left side of the building (if facing the main entrance). Once through this entrance, continue through the door on the right to enter the main area of the building. A staff member will be present to assist you.
- Professional photographers will be on-site taking photos of each graduate during the ceremony. These photos will be available for viewing and purchasing after the ceremony on the GradImages website.
- Public restrooms are available directly behind the church (all gender and women’s restrooms to the right and men’s restrooms to the left when facing the main entrance). A wheelchair-accessible single-occupancy, all-gender restroom is also located just inside the accessible entrance at the rear of the church on the left once inside the entrance.
- Please note: Immediately following our diploma ceremony, the Stanford Chamber Chorale will be holding a concert in MemChu. We kindly ask that guests and graduates who are not staying for the performance exit the church in a timely manner to accommodate those wishing to attend the concert. Your cooperation helps ensure a smooth transition between events and shows respect for both the performers and audience members.
