Hey HumBio! My name is Taylor, and I am so so excited to be working as a Student Advisor this year. I’m a senior from Nashville, TN and have absolutely loved being a part of HumBio and the HumBio community during my time at Stanford. My concentration is Global Child Health, combining my biggest passions, child development and equitable access to health care! As a premed student, HumBio has been crucial to my understanding of why I want to be a doctor and allows important flexibility for me to follow what I am passionate about. I also spent a quarter in Cape Town, South Africa this past summer, working with a community care center that supports HIV-affected families, so I’d love to talk anyone about the abroad experience as a HumBio student. Outside of HumBio, I enjoy keeping busy with different student groups and communities. Last year, I spent most of my time as an RA in Otero and will be the CM in Casa this year! I am also the Overall Director of Dance Marathon (come and boogie with me for a whole 24 hours!) and enjoy spending time outdoors at Stanford Sierra Camp. Come stop by the SA office and hang with me, I can’t wait to meet all of you!
